The EQE Sedan was all-new for 2023, and there are few changes for 2024. Perhaps most impactful is the addition of a heat pump as standard equipment, which should improve driving range, especially in cold weather. Mercedes also tweaked the battery pack and improved the feel of the regenerative braking system.
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE has received accolades for its interior design and luxury features. It has also been recognized for its smooth ride and confident acceleration. Specific awards include accolades for the redesigned Mercedes-Benz E-Class (which shares some platform architecture with the EQE) being named ''2025 MotorTrend Car of The Year''. Mercedes claims the 90.6-kWh battery pack can be charged from 10% to 100% in 9.5 hours using a 240-volt Level 2 charger. When the EQE is connected to a DC fast charger, Mercedes says you can go from a 10% to an 80% charge in just over 30 minutes.
