The Pacifica Hybrid's plug-in-hybrid powertrain features a V6 engine, two electric motors and a 16-kWh battery pack that combine to produce 260 horsepower. It all in all comes with front-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Acceleration is decently quick for a minivan, and there's plenty of power for getting it up to highway speeds and passing other vehicles with ease.
The Pacifica Hybrid has a very good fuel economy score for the minivan class. This Chrysler gets an EPA-estimated 82 MPG-equivalent in combined city/highway driving in EV/hybrid mode. Once the battery pack is depleted, the minivan gets 30 mpg combined. The Pacifica Hybrid has an all-electric driving range of 32 miles. It can be charged in just two hours using a Level 2 (240-volt) charger or 14 hours when plugged into a household-style Level 1 (120-volt) charger.
