The EQS Sedan can be charged at home using a 240-volt electrical adapter or at public charging stations, many of which have Level 2 and DC fast charging capabilities. Mercedes offers an adapter to let you charge the car from a standard household outlet, but this option is not recommended because of the charging time's length.
Mercedes says charging the EQS Sedan with a 240-volt connection takes a little more than 11 hours to garner a full charge from 10% capacity (it is recommended to never let an EV battery drain completely). With DC fast charging, you can go from a 10% charge to 80% in about 30 minutes. Level 3 Charging can provide up to 186 miles of range in just 15 minutes.
