The EQS SUV impressed Edmunds with its high levels of comfort, luxury and technology. On top of that, it has plenty of range. This big Mercedes is expensive, but overall they think it's justified considering all of the features and refinement you get.
All models draw power from a 108.4-kWh battery pack mounted in the floor.
You can charge the EQS SUV at home using a 240-volt outlet (like what you plug large appliances into), or you can install a dedicated wall charger capable of similar charging speeds. In public, there are comparable Level 2 chargers in shopping centers, parking garages or at some businesses, as well as Level 3 DC fast chargers along highly traveled routes.
With Level 2 charging, it takes 12.5 hours to fully charge the EQS SUV from empty, according to Mercedes-Benz. Using DC fast charging, it takes 31 minutes to go from 10% battery capacity to 80%.
