Hyundai is absolutely setting the enthusiast car market on fire with their N offerings. The person responsible for Hyundai's new attitude was boss of Hyundai's performance division now technical advisor, Mr. Albert Biermann. Albert is best known for his work at BMW as leader of said manufacturer's M division. Looking through previous offerings from Hyundai's N line you can see the influence and start to guess what Albert liked about previous M cars. The Kona N really is a car that can do most things. Fair amount of cargo room, comfortable yet sporty seats, tons of tech and touchscreen, accelerates quicker than it should... Quick numbers; 276 HP, 0-60 in 4.8, 3300 lbs, 155 MPH top speed. Those are pretty good numbers. The best part about the Kona N? It has an overboost/scramble boost button for when you need that small little bit in reserve.
