With the Handling Speciale Package, this California T gets the front grille and rear diffuser bits covered in matte chrome, darker exhaust tips, front springs that are 16 percent stiffer, 19 percent stiffer rear springs, reprogrammed magnetic dampersmagnetic dampers to provide a sportier ride, and Sport mode is now sportier. The California T HS also comes with new exhaust ''silencers.'' Essentially big square resonators, one per side. They result in an exhaust note 3 decibels louder. The seven-speed dual-clutch transmission has been tweaked for HS duties, now featuring 30 percent quicker upshifts and 40 percent quicker downshifts.
