Message from the seller
This 2009 Chevrolet HHR was acquired by its previous owner, Hollingsworth Racing, in 2013 and then completely rebuilt by Wizard Race Cars. This one of a kind vehicle was worthy of a write up by dragzine.com in 2017 (https://www.dragzine.com/news/outside-the-box-phil-hollingsworths-wild-nitrous-fed-2009-hhr/). The HHR then spent time in the Hollingsworth Racing shop, and is now being offered for sale with a clear Louisiana title. This race car was pushing low 10 second runs in the quarter mile, but has since had the nitrous removed and LS1 removed. The built LSA that is in there now was installed to make the car more comfortable to ride around town in, or to be a head turner at events
like cruising the coast. Having previously run on C14 fuel, the current LSA takes pump gas from any fuel station reliably making this truly a comfortable and convenient car. This amazing custom delivery build by Wizard Race Cars is built as follows.
The HHR has a full 2x3 square frame, 8.50 cage mustang II front clip back half, with 4-link 9” Strange shocks and Wilwood brakes. It is powered by a built LSA 376ci, and has an LSA crankshaft, Compstar rods, upgraded wrist pins and Wiseco 4.070 pistons and a B&M Shifnoid shifter. In addition, there is a custom Asylum camshaft 230/250, Caddy racing lifters, and MLS GM gaskets. This custom HHR also has CNC ported LSA heads, ARP main studs and head bolts, CHE Trunnion upgrades, and a BTR .685 spring kit. Asylum push rods and an Aeromotive fuel system are also attached to this
stunning build. A Schexnayder Racing built 4L80 racing transmission and PTC 9.5” converter also join the long list of high performing parts included in this build.
The car is painted Hot Rod Black with a custom hood and Rocket Racing wheels with all automatic meter gauges. It was recently updated by Wicked Chassis Works with a suspension setup and a Holley Terminator X Max with a 3.5” screen. This is a completely one of a kind build that is street legal and ready to be driven. The current odometer reads 1,494 miles by the true miles are unknown. The car is currently being sold on consignment for the owner.
This Used 2009 Chevrolet HHR Panel LS is available for drivers in Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, Prairieville, Gonzales, Zachary, Walker, Baker, Port Allen ...
