Out for sale today is the unique Chevrolet Malibu Maxx! GM only offered these a few years and they are extremely versatile. The seats fold down in the back end opens up which allows for unprecedented hauling space in a vehicle of this size. It has a unique multi-position rear cover that doubles as a sun shade, cargo cover, grocery bag holder, a tray or a table. The second row seating reclines for those that want to sleep on a long trip.
One of the great thing about these are the 3.5 L V6 engine. I bought one of these back in 2016 and gave it to my partner who is still driving it today with over 300,000 miles without any issues other than normal maintenance. The engine transmission combination routinely returns over 30 miles a gallon. My partner recorded over 36 mpg on some carefully driven trips. And she also carried her kayak and gear inside the car! This malibu Maxx has been driven less that 5,800 miles per year!!!!!!
I installed new front struts and springs, new rear shocks, new front & rear sway bar links, new headlights and performed a service package including new oil and filter.
It has a nice option package including a power drivers seat with heated front seats, rear tailgate spoiler and rear wiper washer. It also included a factory remote starting system. One of the unexpected items on the Malibu Maxx LT is the dual rear passenger sunroofs with integral sunshades. It has a very nice set of matched Cooper CS5 Touring tires and is clean inside and out with a striking color of Laser Blue with Ebony custom cloth interior.
