Message from the seller
2005 Ford Excursion - its a beast, seriously. This thing has plenty space, perfect for hauling kids, gear, or just escaping to the country. Four wheel drive, so you can tackle almost mud, snow, whatever. Engine runs strong, but an older vehicle, expect some wear and tear - its got some miles on it, a LOT of miles actually. Interior is decent, could use a cleaning, but functional. Tires are pretty good, recently Needs a little TLC, but it's a reliable workhorse. Its a big truck, so be prepared. Lots of cargo space, seriously huge. Dont miss Its a good deal.
* Based on opinions and should be considered as general guidance only.
- Reliability (3)3 out of 5 starsWhile the V10 engine is stout, the 6.0L PowerStroke diesel variant is known for needing expensive 'bulletproofing' to address head gasket and EGR issues.
- Maintenance (2)2 out of 5 starsMaintenance is costly due to extreme fuel consumption, large oil capacities, and the high price of heavy-duty replacement parts like tires and brakes.
- Technology (2)2 out of 5 starsEquipped with very dated features by modern standards, offering only basic amenities like a multi-disc CD player and rear parking sensors.
- Comfort (5)5 out of 5 starsThe Eddie Bauer trim provides exceptionally spacious leather seating and an enormous cabin that remains one of the most comfortable for large groups and long road trips.
- Dynamics (2)2 out of 5 starsHandling is cumbersome and truck-like with a significant turning radius; however, its towing capacity and straight-line stability are impressive for its size.
