GR Auto Gallery is excited to present this truly one-of-a-kind 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE Z06 finished in Onyx Black over a black and red interior. This truck began life as a standard Sierra SLE but became something extraordinary thanks to a special project conceived by a Midwest GMC dealer in the early 2000s. The plan was to create a limited run of 50 high-performance Sierras equipped with the Corvette Z06’s 405-horsepower LS6 V8, but this example is the only one that was ever completed. Under the hood lies the same 5.7-liter LS6 engine that powered the 2002 Corvette Z06, mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit. The powerplant breathes through a custom exhaust system, delivering the unmistakable Z06 bark in a full-size pickup. The chassis was treated to a Belltech lowering kit with a C-notched frame for improved stance and handling, while power steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, and factory A/C ensure that performance comes with everyday comfort. The truck sits aggressively on 20-inch black GMC alloy wheels accented with red decals and wrapped in performance rubber. Chrome bumpers and a color-matched Leer tonneau cover complete the look, while the lowered stance gives it an unmistakable street presence. Inside, you’ll find graphite leather seats with red houndstooth inserts, white-backed gauges, and all the standard SLE power options including power windows, mirrors, and locks. Showing just over 36,000 miles, this Sierra “Z06” represents a fascinating piece of dealer-inspired performance history and a unique blend of Corvette muscle and GMC utility. It’s the only one ever built, a one-of-one modern classic that’s both collectible and thrilling to drive. Please call or email us today for more information.
