It is said to have been modified for racing under previous ownership by Hayashi-San of Garage Saurus in Saitama, Japan, and was exported to Australia following the sellers acquisition in 2018. A subsequent refurbishment involved performing bodywork, replacing various body panels, and refinishing the car in white.
