Just traded in by an elderly owner who cherished this little truck. A new engine was installed a few years ago and still has a 30,000 mile warranty on it. Less than 10,000 miles ago it had brand new tires and rims at a cost of $1,500 installed. It also has a Gibson sport exhaust system a sprayed in bedliner in a hard bed cover. Heavy duty shocks were installed along with a complete set of stainless steel brake lines. It does need some rust work but the doors and cab corners fenders and everything else is good. Even though the older rocker covers require replacement to be perfect it looks like the inner rocker covers are still solid. The standard cap short box has always been a cool little truck to own and since they quit making the step sides they become extremely hard to find and always bring a premium price when totally fixed up. I've been tracking the market for this design GM pickup truck and with the lower miles this one exhibits they are all priced above $12,000 with some of them and exceedingly nice shape even though the miles are high approaching $20,000. With some investment of time and money you could have one heck of a nice truck here for much less than that. The original window sticker for this vehicle was over $25,000 and it is included with the vehicle along with all the other paperwork the owner supplied me. What I like best about it it still has the shifter for the four-wheel drive transfer case mounted on the floor instead of the electronic design which requires a maintenance schedule more intensive than these manual shift ones.
