This 1998 Subaru Impreza 22B STi is 005 of 400 examples produced for the Japanese market to commemorate Subaru s 40th anniversary and their manufacturers titles in the World Rally Championship race series. It is finished in Rally Blue over a black and blue interior, and a turbocharged 2.2-liter flat-four drives all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 22B-specific bodywork, an electronically locking center differential, an adjustable rear wing, 17 BBS wheels, red-finished STi brake calipers, and automatic climate control. The car was imported from Japan to the US in July 2020 under prior ownership, and the timing belt and water pump were replaced after the car arrived in the US. This 22B STi was acquired by the selling dealer out of in October 2021 and is now offered in with manufacturer s literature, import documents, NHTSA show or display paperwork, service records, and a clean title.
