The Impreza 22B STi was produced between March and August 1998 to celebrate both Subaru s 40th anniversary as well as its third consecutive FIA World Rally Championship. All examples were finished in World Rally Blue and featured a model-specific vented aluminum hood with a hood scoop, widened fenders, rocker extensions, and an adjustable rear wing. Additional equipment includes fog lights with STi-branded covers, STi fender badges, power-folding side mirrors, tinted windows, a rear window wiper, a 22B STi trunk badge, and an STi branded exhaust tip. A replacement front Pleiades grille emblem was installed in February 2023.
