Used 1998 Mercedes-Benz S-Class

1998 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, S420! I have had this car since early 2020. I am the second owner. The Previous owner was based out of Illinois and passed the car down within his family until I acquired it. The car is a pleasure to drive and is in exceptional condition for its age. I have a small obsession with these old Mercedes and have owned several. This is, (in my opinion), is the best of the original GERMAN made MB cars. These cars have all of the cool options that made MB a true luxury brand in its time. No comparison with the new cars. The car has many new parts and has been fully serviced. It has New A/C (works excellent even in scorching heat) has new brakes new fluids, new filters. The car starts, runs, and drives EXCELLENT. It's very quiet, very smooth. The interior is in very nice condition, all leather and carpets are in great shape. The car does have the double pane glass that sound proofs the interior. Has power doors, power seats power windows power everything. The car has a clean body, nothing unexpected from a well maintained 25 year old garaged car. There is no rust issues, and has normal wear and tear. It does not get driven in poor weather, it does not see snow. Tires are fairly new, plenty of life. The suspension is tight! The car does NOT have air suspension so no need to worry. The lights are all fully functional. 100% of the electronics and all of the power options are functional! The car is not perfect, it does have flaws, light scratches as expected. I had the passenger and drivers fender repainted and minor dings repaired. It has a crack in the driver door mirror. The sun roof sliding cover could use a light repair as its missing the headliner there (the roof headliner is excellent, Just the sunroof sliding door) Since I've had the car (which i drive periodically) ive replaced Brakes, tires, A/C was serviced this summer and blows cold, has new fluids, new plugs, new filters, new oils. New coolant and brake flush was performed.
