Message from the seller

  • $10,995 * Cruisin Classics is pleased to present this 1995 Ford Mustang GT Track Car to you today. Have you ever wished that you had a car specially built for racing that you could go tear around in every weekend at your local track or speedway? How about one that doesn't break the bank and can be driven on the street to the track? Well, we have just the car to meet that need for speed! This Mustang GT is currently set up for 265hp/310tq cap class racing, and it's turn-key ready for the track. Originally dressed in red paint, this Mustang is now covered in an Avery Indigo Blue vinyl wrap that's accented with a number of stickers and decals. The exterior of this car is in fair condition, with many scratches, scuffs, and imperfections - let's face it, it's a race car, not a show car. Despite the cosmetic demerits, this Pony does sport some cool exterior features like triple horizontal bar taillights, a Cobra front bumper, hood pins, a Cervini road race spoiler, and rare 5-spoke Forgeline wheels (wrapped in Falken 615 tires). Under the hood, you'll find a 5.0-liter V-8 with some go-fast modifications. We do not have receipts for any of the parts nor work done to the car, and since we can't verify some of the internal mods, we're passing on information given to us by the most recent owner. The V-8 is now topped off with AFR aluminum Enforcer cylinder heads and ported GT40 upper & lower intake manifolds. Other add-ons include a 70mm MAF and matched throttle body, a CAI intake, an ARP oil pump shaft, an Aviaid road race pan with baffle kit, BBK long-tube headers, and SLP mufflers/dumps. The engine is mated up to a new Tremec T5Z transmission with a new clutch, a Ford Motorsport aluminum driveshaft, and a freshly rebuilt Ford 8.8 rear differential. A Stiffler's transmission crossmember has also been added for support. Stopping power comes courtesy of drilled C4 Corvette front rotors and Porsche 4-piston Brembo calipers as well as standard discs on the rear. Handling has been improved with a Maximum Motorsports Grip Box that includes tubular A-arms and K-member, front and rear adjustable sway bars, a bumpsteer kit, frame stiffening bars with seat mounts, coilovers with adjustable spring perches, Tokico D-spec struts, tubular upper and lower rear control arms, and a panhard bar. Open the drivers door to find a nearly completely stripped interior with a well-built cage fabricated by Mark the cage guy in Akron Ohio. Step over the cage and slide into a Sparco Circuit seat with a 5-point harness. Straight ahead is a Ford Motorsport steering wheel with quick release that frames an Intellitronix digital gauge cluster that has been added to the stock Mustang dash. Mounted to the center of the dash is a Garmin Catalyst data logger that contains track maps for the whole US, as well as offering true track positioning, real lap data, and a whole host of other useful features. Behind the right side dash panel is a power source for the Garmin unit. The factory controls for A/C, heat, and fan are still present, and all of the systems that support them under the hood appear to be present, but the controls are currently inoperative. There is no stereo in the car. There is a shifter for the 5-speed transmission on the bare floor. Windows have been removed from the doors, and window nets have been added. A few other notable additions to the interior include a battery cut-off switch on the A-pillar, a fan override switch on the dash, and a fire extinguisher. Aside from the aforementioned interior features, the interior has been completely removed down to bare metal, and the trunk has been sealed closed. If you want to have a toy to take to the track on weekends and cut loose without going through the time and hassle to build one, this Mustang is for you! If you look up all of the modifications that have been made to make this car compete on the track, you'll quickly see that they add up to way more than what we're asking for this ride -
