The Range Rover is a 4x4, mid-size off-road vehicle series produced from 1970 to 1996 – initially by the Rover (later Land Rover) division of British Leyland. The first generation of vehicles produced under the Range Rover name, it was built as a two-door model for its first 11 years. Availability of the two-door version was restricted from 1984, but it remained in production for some markets until 1994, when the second generation was launched. From that moment, Land Rover rebranded the original model under the term Range Rover Classic. This rare Range Rover 2 Door model was imported from Portugal into the US. Documentation includes some ownership records dating back to 1993. It is equipped with a replacement, 5k miles, complete rebuild by Zombie Motors in Oregon, 3L Turbo Diesel naturally aspirated engine installed in 2022. In addition to the 300 TDI, a 5-Speed manual transmission unit from a Discovery was installed as well as 300 TDI radiator and intercooler. Modified engine wiring harness, cooling lines were installed, and exhaust down pipe was changed to fit. It has full time 4 wheel drive with Hi/Lo transfer.
