This 1990 Nissan 300ZX is one of seven factory-supported Z32 race cars constructed by Clayton Cunningham Racing for IMSA GTO competition, and debuted with a pole position in late 1990 at the hands of Steve Millen. Millen also helped pilot the car to a second in class at the 1991 12 Hours of Sebring before going on to achieve six additional poles, four victories, and a pair of second-place finishes during the remainder of the 1991 season. It was subsequently used as a backup chassis before being sold in 1997 to a Canadian owner, with whom it is said to have red unused before being returned to CCR in 2003 for reconditioning. The car changed hands again in 2005 and reportedly sat idle until being sold in 2017 to a new owner in , who campaigned it in historic GT events. A second refurbishment is said to have taken place before the sellers acquisition in a 2020 trade. Power is from a front-mid-mounted aluminum 2,960cc V6 that features an aluminum block, twin Garrett turbochargers, NPTI electronic fuel injection, and dry sump lubrication. Additional equipment includes carbon-fiber composite bodywork over a long-wheelbase chromoly tube chassis, a five-speed manual transmission with Hewland internals, adjustable coilovers, and water-cooled disc brakes.
