Used 1987 Chevrolet Corvette Base

Please read entire description and watch the VIDEO--This is NOT another used-up money-pit C4 Corvette, it is truly worth your time. Just 25,xxx original miles, no damage, never wrecked, and is in near pristine cosmetic and mechanical condition. I say "near" because no near-40 year old classic is going to be truly pristine, no matter how much salesman hyperbole is used to describe it. Everything on this Vette works, including the cold AC, perfect digital dash, cruise control, Delco/Bose stereo, power windows, mirrors, seats, etc. It drives out amazingly well (I've put 300 miles on it myself!), with tight handling, good power, crisp shifts, and none of the annoying crashing, thunking, rattles and squeaks of typical C4s with much higher mileage. It is also clean underneath and not a leaky mess. Weatherstrips, leather seats, and carpeting are all in excellent condition, which is an important consideration given the significant expense to replace these items. Desirable options include the blue-tinted acrylic glass top, the sport seats, leather, etc. Even the rear hatch pull-cover is in excellent shape. Headlights work without issue, wheels are super nice, having no curb rash, peeling, etc, and it has very good BFG Sport 2 Comp Force tires. Just-completed maintenance: Mobil-1 oil change w/AC-Delco filter, new air filter, fuel filter, and Idle Air Control valve. MAF was also properly cleaned. The car has 3 minor flaws: 1) small paint flaw on driver's door near mirror (see pic), 2) the power antenna is broken off, but stereo still works fine, 3) needs a new hood strut. There is also a substantial pile of receipts showing maintenance and care over the years. To most who see this car, they can't believe how nice it is. Paint and body are as nice as you will find on an original paint, well-preserved C4. Smooth, straight, with no fading, oxidizing, checking, etc. The interior is equally as nice, and not ragged out like so many others. And it drives just as great. A nice, soft, custom-fit car cover comes with the car. No one who sees this car in person will be disappointed. And yes, you could drive this one home. Priced $4k below Hagerty #2 condition. You CAN buy an $8k C4 and deal with it's inevitable issues, then spend another $8k to get it to where this car is now, or just buy this one and enjoy it as it was meant to be. Classic Vettes in this condition with these miles never last long, so call now before it finds a new home that isn't yours.
