Just in is this needle in a hay stack neat 2-owner original unrestored documented correct 44k original mile 1982 FIAT SPIDER Factory Turbo 5-speed Convertible! This 1982 Fiat Spider 2000 Turbo is one of approximately 700 examples produced for the US market in partnership with Legend Industries of New York. The car is finished in Metallic Black over tan vinyl and is powered by a Fuel Injected 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a nice tan soft top with plastic rear window that has a crack but clear tapped, stailess header mated to high-flow catalytic converter & single exhaust, heater, aftermarket speakers, and 14″ Cromodora alloy wheels. These are very desirable and very few in this condtion come to market. Recent Service In past 100 miles inc: Oil & Filter change, Spark Plugs, Distributor Inspect & Rebuild, NY Safety Inspection, Fuel Pump & Fuel inj Service. This car runs & drive strong & smooth. It stops & handles well! As most know the 2000 SpiderTurbo option were not the easiest to service thus on this particular Spider the Turbo was niceley removed and put into N/A status....but have no fear it comes with factory Turbo that spins free and we don't feel any end play, factory exhaust manifold, pipes, exhaust & brackets. This is how we purchased it and no we do have any back story on Turbo removal. Is what it is and looks like it could be put back to Turbo spooling with some effort. Paint & body & special Tan Turbo stripe look nice. Nice tidy interior, Nice engine bay. Nice Canvas on top, Nice tidy trunk! All books & manuals, Clear title & clean history! This era Spider is the pinnacle in the Fiat world and we feel this is a invesment quality beauty! This gem is parked in out on-site showroom it is that nice!
