The '81s were special in that they were the last of the carbureted engines and it would be three years before you could get a manual transmission in a Corvette again. The beloved C3s were phasing out and many lovers of America's Sports Car will tell you, these are what people think of when they picture a a third generation Corvette. Of those 40,606 units made in 1981 only 5757 were manufactured with a 4 speed stick. Of that number, how many are left and in this condition? What could be cooler than taking the removeable top off, cranking up Jessie's Girl, and shifting gears in your C3?
