Interior amenities include a power-adjustable driver's seat, cruise control, power windows, and ice-cold air conditioning. The factory Delco AM/FM cassette radio does work. A three-spoke red leather wrapped steering wheels frames an 85-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, volts, and fuel level are located in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 35,669 miles. Drivetrain: The 350ci L81 V8 is numbers matching and was rated at 190 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque. It features a 4-bolt main, aluminum intake, dual snorkel, and finned valve covers that helped reduce the total weight of the Corvette. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a positraction differential. Undercarriage: Underneath, you'll find Corvette's first fiberglass-reinforced mono-leaf spring, shaving off 36 lbs. and adding a sharper, smoother ride.
