That's hammered home by the 15-inch Weld DragLite wheels on board with tires that are no older than six years, slightly staggered in width and drag radials in back. The wing has sidewalls that in effect, continue the work of the flying buttresses to funnel air rearward while still allowing full view from the vertical rear window. Solid red tail lights add some flair, while rocker trim dresses the bottom edge. Imperfections include orange peel paint, chips, and bent front wheels. It's mated to a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission that routes power to the rear axle with 3.70 gears and Positraction. Undercarriage We find dry driver quality conditions underneath with some typical surface rust and some custom cutouts along with dual exhaust that originate at headers and run through Flow FX by FlowMaster mufflers and terminate behind the rear bumper. There are no catalytic converters on board. Power disc brakes are supplied to all four corners and suspension consists of coil springs in front and transverse leaf springs in back with half shafts, lateral struts and control arms. Drive-Ability We strap in, pump the gas, and crank the V8 to life and it bellows its way onto the test loop with some obvious power underfoot, straight tracking, and smooth, automatic shifting. A few things are not working on the car and that includes the headlights that won't roll up, the horn, tail lights, turn signals, brake lights and power passenger window. Beyond those things, functions needed to get from A to B and monitor engine conditions while cranking some tunes, all work as intended.
