1975 Chevrolet C10 Custom Deluxe Flairside Pickup This is where we set the standards. Full width bench seat is comfortably foam padded, upholstered with plaid pattern vinyl in blue, green, saddle, or red. Steel roof panel is painted exterior color. Black rubber floor mat extends to the firewall. Padded armrest, padded sunshades, courtesy lamp, prismatic rearview mirror, foam padded instrument panel pad are included. Some of the features of the Custom Deluxe expressed in the 1975 sales brochure.  For consignment, a 1975 Chevrolet C10 Custom Deluxe flairside pickup truck showing 83,054 miles, but the true miles are unknown due to exemption. Other than a lowered stance, this truck presents in original configuration with a fair amount of patina.  Exterior As the song goes, Dreams come true, in Blue Hawaii... and this truck is painted in Hawaiian Blue, conjuring thoughts of big waves and surf boards in the back of a pickup truck. This square body is ready to take to the streets, in Hawaii or anywhere else, lowered onto 15-inch Rally wheels with 235/75R15's all around and a mid 2022 date code on each. In front, the boxy eggcrate grille is underscored by a white painted bumper while in back, white spells out Chevrolet and matches the rear bumper. A tonneau cover hovers over the wood planks in the bed which show a touch of age but are intact. The namesake step creates a flared fender appearance while big side mirrors expand the overall width of the truck. Imperfections include numerous areas of evident filler patch and brushed on paint, bubbling and blistering paint, pitted metal, rusted seam on the tailgate, chipping paint that is touched up or not, filler in the door jamb, various scratches, and cracked filler. Interior Blue door cards hang inside and show some patina including a good deal of wear on the driver's side. The blue vinyl bench seat is in good shape with some compression but lacking any rips or tears. Up front, it's your basic mid 70's work truck with a simple steering wheel fronting a simple dashboard, two round gauges, some indicator lights, and a vent lever panel, all in black plastic under a blue dash pad that shows some cracks. There's an AM/FM radio on board as well. Black carpet floods the floor and while we're down here, we note some surface rust in the passenger footwell. Up top, just like the brochure claimed, the roof is paint matched to the exterior and a sliding rear window allows the air to flow.  Drivetrain Here we have a bay with patina, housing a 250ci inline six cylinder, rated at 105 horsepower and fueled by a 1-barrel carburetor. It's mated to a three on the tree manual transmission that sends power to the 12 bolt rear axle with 3.73 gears.  Power steering and power brakes are noted to be present. There is rust through on the firewall (which would explain the rust in the footwell).  Undercarriage Plenty of patina underneath and a touch of rust on an inner panel, but overall complete and solid. Brakes are employed as front power discs and rear power drums while the newer exhaust is a single system that flows through a stainless steel muffler before exiting behind the rear wheel. Suspension include coil springs in front and leaf springs in the back, a 2 drop up front, 4 drop in the back and BelTech shock absorbers at each corner.  Drive-Ability This simple and once common mode of transportation fires up and makes the rounds on the test loop, performing well and providing good visibility. The lowered stance enhances the car-like driving experience and improves cornering. Other than the horn not working, all functions operate as intended and it's off to the truck room for this Hawaiian Blue dream. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase. Step right up and get in on this classic Chevrolet truck! It's got decent bones if you're lookin
