This Chevrolet Corvette coupe was converted for racing use over 25 years ago and acquired by the current owner in in 2016. The car is finished in red with NART-style livery over a race-prepped interior and is powered by a modified 427ci V8 paired with an M22 four-speed manual transmission and a 3.55:1 rear differential. Equipment includes Torq Thrust style 15 wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a side-exit exhaust system, a front spoiler, removable roof panels, adjustable front coilovers, a fuel cell, an MSD ignition system, and a roll cage as well as a fire-suppression system, a Hurst shifter, and a Kirkey Racing seat with a four-point harness. A mechanical overhaul was carried out in 2017, and an inspection and a compression test were performed in preparation for the sale.
