Stock Number: 1671 - 1973 is one of the best years for a Trans AM. New Color options were available and the iconic Phoenix showed up on the Hood! RTS (Radial Tuned Suspension) made its debut. So there were many reasons to be excited about a trip to the Pontiac Dealership. Who would be able to see into the future for this legendary car. There really were very few cars that were worthy of any significant interest as the '70's progressed. But somehow the Engineers at Pontiac managed to keep the Excitement alive. This Trans AM started its pampered life in sunny California, as seen on the PHS factory invoice. Many years later, it underwent a comprehensive restoration and is now in beautiful condition. When the 455 engine was rebuilt, an upgraded performance CAM along with a set of High Performance No. 48 heads were used. These are the two things that really bring a mid 70's 455 alive. The Transmission is a New 200-R4 with Overdrive, so this TA is a joy to drive on the freeway. The Suspension is New RideTech Street Grip all the way around, so the ride quality is outstanding. The brakes were upgraded to BAER 4 Wheel Disc and 17 Alloy Wheels were installed with Nitto 555 Tires to give it the aggressive look and stance. It drives as you would expect with no surprises.
