Used 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle

This 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS was purchased new by the sellers father at the 1970 Portland Auto Show as a present for the sellers brother, from whom the seller purchased it 17years later as an 18th birthday gift for his own son. The car was reacquired in 1992 and stored for 10 years before a two-year overhaul entailing a color change to black and rebuilds of its 454ci LS5V8, three-speed automatic transmission, and rear end. Factory options include the Z15 SS Equipment Package, F41 Special Performance Suspension, and power-assisted front disc brakes. The car was awarded first in class at the 2004 Portland Roadster Show before the end of the refurbishment, and less than 2k miles have been driven since completion. Service in 2019 included a brake booster rebuild and installation of a new master cylinder. This Chevelle is offered with its original build sheet, restoration invoices, and a clean title in the sellers name.
