This factory 1970 Camaro Super Sport was rotisserie restored in 2003-2005 while still in California. With just over 2,300 miles logged on the odometer since work was completed, it is fair to say that it still presents as well today as it did back then. The floors and inner fenders are painted in matching Hugger Orange with black powder coating on the frame and suspension components....all clean, detailed and rust free. Rally Sport type split front bumpers have been added along with a steel Cowl Hood, Z28 stripes and a short rear deck spoiler. The paint work is extremely nice, over $22k was spent on the exterior paint alone back in 2003 and it speaks for itself. The engine was a warranty replacement back in the day and was performance-built during the restoration by Steve Short in California with 11.5:1 compression, aluminum heads and various polished and chrome accessories while the Turbo Hydramatic transmission was upgraded with a mild stall converter. The suspension, steering and brake systems have all been updated...up front are QA1 adjustable coil over shocks, tubular control arms, SSBC 4-wheel disc brakes, larger diameter sway bar and rack and pinion steering while in the rear is a 12 bolt rear end with 4-Link suspension, subframe connectors and coil over shocks. The interior has been upgraded with custom Saddle Leather coverings on the front and rear seats with a full suede headliner and sunvisor treatment. Custom Auto Meter instrumentation has been added to the dash along with an Alpine AM-FM CD unit and a custom 3-spoke steering wheel. Restoration receipts, service manual and the original build sheet accompany this beautiful car. Offered at $44,995
