We do this to ensure each client has ample time to view/inspect a vehicle. Living large is easy in a Pontiac Bonneville, particularly in a Convertible. At more than 222 inches long, this 1967 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible boasts the curvaceous styling and rear fender skirts worn by full-size GM sedans that year. One of 8,902 built in 1967. This Bonneville’s purple and white color combination mates perfectly with its parchment white interior. Best of all, it has reportedly only had one owner since new. This Rear Wheel Drive 1967 Pontiac Bonneville is powered by the standard numbers-matching YE CODE 400-cu.in. V-8 with a 4-barrel carburetor, that was rated at 325 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque when new, and is matched with a Turbo Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. The engine has never been rebuilt, and the engine “starts right up.” The engine bay looks to be original, but it appears it could benefit from a cleaning. Fully restyled for 1965, the 1967 Pontiac Bonneville received revised front bumpers and other styling updates that accentuate its “wide-track” look. One neat new option for ’67 Pontiac was cornering lamps. This car was Pontiac’s most luxurious offering, something apparent in its wide, spacious interior with seating for six, thanks to its front bench seat. The interior appears to be original and in good condition. Its lack of visible discoloration speaks to its limited use during more than four decades. The door handles and window cranks appear to lack the pitting seen on well-used convertibles. The dash pad appears to be intact as well. In the rear, the radio speaker appears to be in excellent condition, and the seat medallions are intact. In 1967, seat belts and an energy-absorbing steering column came standard, part of the federal government’s first automotive safety mandates. It boasts an original AM factory radio with an 8-track tape deck and a clock. Heat and factory R-12 AC that still works. Many people believe that R12 refrigerant is the greatest invention in the history of cooling. And the trunk is huge, with 37.4 cubic feet of space. The seller states that the Regimental purple paint has been painted one time and remains in “very good” condition without blemishes. That’s likely due to the fact that this big convertible has been garaged when not in use. The fully operational electric Ivory white convertible top has been replaced once and is reported to be “leak-free.” Window glass appears to be in good condition and free of any cracks. This car is “rust-free,” and all the lights work. The Bonneville sports an independent front suspension, drum brakes, and recirculating ball steering. This car is a rolling symbol of Pontiac’s styling brilliance, with quad-stacked headlights, the Coke bottle body shape, and beautiful chrome accents! The 1967 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible was a rarity when new, and more so today. With brawny V-8 power, room for six, a power top, and enough trunk space for all your gear for a two-week vacation, it’s hard to resist this big old Bonneville’s lasting appeal. Just serviced at A-1 Automotive and Fabini's Auto Trim Motor, transmission, interior, outside, and underneath inspection. This Bonneville has a clean bill of health.
