*** THIS CAR IS PHYSICALLY LOCATED IN DENNIS, MA *** What we have here is a two owner, 1966 Volkswagen Beetle with 73,931 original miles on the odometer. The car is finished in a single stage, Java Green and has a very nice and complementary Beige vinyl interior. Overall, this car is a great car that has been well cared for and is ready to drive. Note that the paint is very good but not perfect, the car is a driver quality, solid example of the Beetle. This 1966 VW Bug has been in the possession of the second owner for about 35 years. He bought it from a school teacher in California and has looked after her well as you can see from the pictures. This is a great driver not a show car. It has the original interior with signs of wear but it has been well preserved. The car was painted once about 20 years ago in the correct color and with single stage paint. The chrome is all original and in very good condition. It has a 1641cc motor with a Scat Crank and Cam coupled to its 4 speed manual transmission. She runs really well cruising at 85 down the highway with no problem Recently, the owner re-did all the brakes, shocks, brake lines, master cylinder, etc. She has correct empty flat four wheels with newer Cooper Cobra, 195/ 50R 15 radial tires and we have the stock wheels, hubcaps and tires that will come with the car. This car is solid and could easily be the catalyst for a great show car. The car has a clear Massachusetts title and is ready for a new home.
