The current owner bought the car in 2017 (about the time the car was restored) for his wife’s birthday while they attended Cruisin’ the Coast. The car has been upgraded with a factory GM crated ZZ4 engine, 680 cfm Quick Fuel carb, MSD distributor and box, and a fresh 2024 AMG battery. In 2020, Vintage Air was added along with a large tube Dewitte aluminum radiator, new upholstery (seat covers, foam, carpet and sunvisor), Sony audio (hidden inside the glovebox) with Pioneer speakers. In 2021, Headman headers (hi-temp ceramic coated) were installed. During 2022, factory GM Delco front calipers were added. Borgeson quick radius power steering was installed. In 2025, Diamond back Goldline Pro Touring tires were mounted. During 2026, power disc brakes with dual master cylinder were installed.
