This 1965 Chevrolet Malibu SS sport coupe was built at the Fremont, plant and was sold new by Ostrom Chevrolet of Montebello, in December 1964. The car is finished in Evening Orchid over black vinyl upholstery and powered by a 283ci V8 paired with a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Other equipment includes power-assisted drum brakes, front bucket seats, power steering, air conditioning, and a Delco push-button AM radio. The car was acquired by the current owner . Subsequent work consisted of fitting a UMI Performance 1.25 front anti-sway bar, 1 rear anti-sway bar, and lowering springs in addition to Bilstein shocks, 15 GM steel wheels, BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, and Simpson Latch and Link lap harnesses. This Chevelle Malibu SS is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with manufacturer s literature, a Protect-O-Plate, a 1977-dated registration card, recent service records, and a clean title.
