1965 Chevrolet C10 RegCab Short Bed C1445S221319 74,664 Miles (reported as accurate) $34,876 903-258-2591 Trades considered (even on consignment vehicles)! Cars, pickups or SUV’s only please The first-generation C/K trucks were produced from the 1960 to 1966 model years. They were the first General Motors pickup trucks developed on a dedicated truck platform (no longer a derivative of the GM A platform). This 1965 Chevrolet C10 RegCab Short Bed has been in the same family since new! Grandpa bought it from new at Johnson Chevrolet in Water Valley, MS and used it on the family farm in the pastures and occasionally to town for a visit to the local Piggly Wiggly. Somewhere around 1988-90, grandpa (at age 85) gave the truck to the owner’s aunt and uncle. In 1999, the aunt and uncle gave the truck to the current owner (who is a senior citizen/non-smoker). For the last 18 years it has been stored inside a heated/cooled showroom. About 2004-2006 new brakes and tires were installed. Between 2006-2008 leather, carpet, door panels and headliner were added. It’s been well maintained with an engine overhaul done in 2024 (along with refreshing the radiator, adding HEI ignition, water pump). Unfortunately, the owner does not have all maintenance records to prove the accuracy of the mileage, but is willing to sign/notarize an affidavit supporting the mileage. The truck won an award at a car show in Lindale, TX in 2008 for the vehicle with the Best Story. I’ve driven the truck and found that it starts readily, idles smoothly, runs well (good power), and shifts positively. Equipment includes: * 230 cu in (3.8L) Inline-Six: Standard engine, known for economy with overhead valve design (Professionally overhauled in 2024)/Manual choke/Driven about 1,200 miles per year * Transmission: 3-speed manual *Upgraded Sony XPod audio with AM/FM/CD/MP3/WMA *Tires have plenty of tread remaining * Suspension: Independent front coil springs, rear leaf springs * 115-inch (short bed) wheelbase *Self adjusting brakes *Teal exterior (repainted when?) *Tan vinyl interior (redone when?) *Includes a rifle rack behind the seat *Carpeted flooring *Grandpa had a Farmall tractor hence the Farmall decals *Heavy duty rear bumper Dog dish hubcapsLeather seating, door panels and headliner Offered by John Haigler at Haigler Motors, Inc., 13192 Hwy. 155 South, Tyler, TX 75703. Please message before coming out since I don’t keep regular hours (generally here Tuesday thru Sunday 8am-5pm). You’re welcome to call or text 24/7, whenever convenient for you. Should you need financing, please arrange through your bank/credit union as I am unable to provide in-house financing. If you currently do not have a banking relationship, you may check with Altra Federal Credit Union here in Tyler. You’re welcome to also check out United Heritage Credit Union in Tyler. They both offer great rates and terms! Thanks for your consideration. Also, if you need assistance in selling your vehicle, I offer a consignment service on a flat fee basis (no sale, no fee charged). Quite a few of my customers utilize the service for the following reasons: 1. Avoid having to deal with countless phone calls, texts, or emails from the public 2. Title paperwork is handled by a licensed Texas Motor Vehicle dealer (especially when a lien is in effect on your vehicle or the buyer needs financing) 3. Making certain that you are paid the correct amount in a timely manner (there are a multitude of scams in the marketplace which can be difficult to detect) 4. Advertising – handled for you in a manner that draws maximum number of interested parties 5. Test drives are always accompanied, never alone (copy of driver’s license and insurance is required). Personal safety can be an issue when test driving with an unknown person. Interested persons are instructed on how to make the test drive without damaging your vehicle (e. g. no jack rabbit start
