1963 Studebaker Avanti R2, this amazing survivor was sold new right here in West Chester, PA and remained with the original family for 58 years. It was always garaged, and well maintained, and then stored for several years. It then sold to an avid Avanti collector who performed extensive service and upgrades to the highest standards. The stunning White paint is mostly original with only minor touch-ups, with gleaming brilliant chrome and stainless trim, and and immaculate original Red interior. The powerful R2 supercharged 289 cu in V8 engine produces 289 HP and is directed by a 4-speed manual transmission. 1963 Studebaker Avanti production was only 3,834 with just 643 were built in the desirable R2 / 4-speed combination. This rare example features power steering, power front disc brakes, AM radio, and seat belts. It has received full mechanical restoration including a valve job, all engine gaskets, all new brakes, wheel cylinders, calipers, and upgraded with a dual master cylinder, carburetor, fuel pump, electronic ignition, battery, water pump, radiator, belts, hoses, all fluids, stainless steel dual exhaust, Halibrand alloy wheels, Cooper radial tires, and much more.
