They were never built in the huge numbers and unlike the bulk of the cars it competed against, F-85s were all V-8 powered, featuring an all-aluminum block from Buick, but with Oldsmobile's own heads with wedge-shaped combustion chambers. At just 215-cu.in., it's no big-block, but thanks to sky-high 10.75:1 compression, the little engine develops 185hp. With just 2,700 pounds to push around, F-85s offer performance unlike anything you'll find out there in its competitors. The body was originally Garnet Mist according to the trim tag, it was repainted prior to his acquisition. Exterior features include chrome trim and a white soft top, which is said to have been replaced under current ownership. Steel wheels wear full covers and 13″ whitewall radial tires.
