1958 FORD FAIRLANE 500 COUPE T 1390 Relive the stary nights cruising the boulevard, the sounds of Thee Midnighters from the radio, your Lady next to you, and the World was right. You can do that once again in this classic 1958 Ford Fairlane 500. For 1958 quad headlights were added as well as n new grill fashioned after the Thunderbird. The first you notice is the stunning bright red exterior complimented by old school pinstripes, the brilliant chrome embellishments, the tail-dragging stance, the fender skirts, the full continental kit, the twin chrome spotlights, the twin rear mounted radio antennas, the spinner full hub caps, and that recognizable sound of the twin exhaust. You are making a statement! The only thing missing is your pomade and a leather jacket. This classic is powered by the 351 V-8 coupled to a smooth shifting automatic transmission both harvested from a 1972 Torino. A custom aluminum radiator with electric fan keeps it cool. The engine area displays newer belts, hoses and wiring. The cloth covered bench seat interior is roomy and comfortable. Matching door panels and headliner are in good condition. A quality complete detail of the exterior, engine area, and interior was recently completed. Stopping is now aided by power front disc brakes with a rebuilt power steering pump recently installed. The dash is original and unmolested, with auxiliary fuel, water temp and oil pressure gauges mounted under the dash. In place of the original radio a modern Sony AM/FM/Cassette is in place with multi Pioneer rear speakers boosting the tunes. This classic 1958 will give you many miles of smiles over the years.
