Used 1957 Ford Thunderbird

1957 was a great year for American Classic cars and everybody will recognize a nice 57 T-Bird. This solid California car is finished in Raven Black with the matching Porthole removable Hard top and White Soft top The Stainless and Chrome trim are all in very nice condition and the fender skirts with factory 14 inch steel wheels with original hubcaps wrapped in American Classic wide white wall radials complete the ultimate 50’s look. Under the hood sits the original 312 V8 engine rated at 245 Horsepower and it has the Aluminum Thunderbird valve covers, original chrome air cleaner as well as factory power steering, power brakes and dual exhaust exiting through the rear bumper. Although A/C was never a factory option it was often added at the dealership as an under dash unit. This one has that option added as well as an upgraded more efficient rotary style compressor updated to the less expensive R134 freon. Power gets distributed to the road through a Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission and backed by the original rear differential with 3:10 gear ratio for getting on the highway. The interior is finished in Colonial White with Black two tone seating, original Steering wheel, factory gauges with spun machined gauge and dash face carrying over to the door panels, custom Classic auto sound radio and an added acrylic floor mounted cup holder to keep that coffee in place headed to the weekly morning cruise. This beautiful 68 year old Classic is far from done putting smiles on the faces of people that remember a simpler time.
