Message from the seller

This vehicle features the 331 CID Hemi V8 2 barrel with a 180 horsepower. New for 1953 was the Powerflite automatic transmission. Tires are radial with true wire wheels. Car features full power equipment: windows, steering and front seat. The Vermont Green paint is in great shape and condition after a full repaint by the previous owner. No dings are visible on this vehicle. The exterior trim was re-chromed. The interior was reupholstered in 2017 by Stitch Ally Upholstery. The fuel system is upgraded to an electric pump for worry free driving in the heat of summer with today's pump gas. This vehicle was built July 22, 1953, in Detroit and sold new by Glenn Motors of Chicago, IL. Vehicle was added to the VerHage MOPAR collection in August of 2007. Condition of the car throughout rates a 2+ condition and we have all maintenance and repair records. We have driven this car extensively adding 2,300 miles to the car in 17 years of ownership. Vehicle comes with an extra set of 4 wheels & tires deluxe classic all season radials white side wall 235x75 R15 with 4-original wheel covers. Under carriage photos are available on request.
